Have you ever felt like your current path doesn’t truly reflect who you are or what you want from life? A “relaunch” might be just what you’re heading into. It’s a pivotal life transition that gives you a chance to redefine your sense of success and bring you closer to your authentic self.

Relaunches aren’t always easy, but in this article, Hilary DeCesare, Founder & CEO of The ReLaunch Company, and I share tips and strategies to help you embrace the process and handle these life transitions smoothly.

The 3 Headquarters of You (3HQ) Method

Every single person is going to have a significant relaunch. Whether it’s happening now or it’s coming down the pike, it will happen. During your relaunch, you might feel torn between what you think, feel, and truly aspire to be. These transitions bring about change, and it is never easy.

To truly embrace this journey, you need to harmonize your head, heart, and highest self—what Hilary refers to as the 3 Headquarters of You (3HQ).

  1. Head – Everything we experience out there, we experience it in our heads first. One of the biggest challenges for people is to get out of their heads. Often, limiting beliefs cloud our minds and paralyze us, but the pause principle can make all the difference.
This principle reminds us to breathe and focus on our positive and empowering beliefs. If you won’t pause, you won’t hear your inner voice because they only speak when it’s quiet.
  2. Heart – Your heart often knows things that your head doesn’t. Only when you silence that mental chatter and get out of your head, can you really listen to your heart, and access your deeper intuition.
  3. Highest self – When you learn to master your head and heart, it connects you to the greater version of you — your highest self. According to Hilary, this is your G zone – the zone of greatness, gratitude, and growth. It’s about being true to yourself, living by your highest values, and reaching for your full potential.

Using the 3HQ method means balancing these three parts—thinking smart, feeling deeply, and staying true to your best self. But sometimes, even with this alignment, you need a quick boost to tackle immediate challenges. That’s where the Tune-In Process comes in.

The Tune In Process

The Tune-in process allows you to energetically increase where you are at that moment, and elevate you to do anything for a brief amount of time. The process involves 4 steps:

  1. Identify your challenge. – Think about a current problem or challenge you’re facing. It could be something at work or in your personal life. This helps you focus on what you want to change.
  2. Change the channel, elevate your energy. – Listen to a song that makes you feel happy and energized. This can be your go-to song that never fails to lift your spirits. Play it for 20 seconds to shift from feeling down to feeling upbeat.
  3. Visualize Success – Picture yourself as the star of your own movie where you’ve already solved the problem. Imagine people cheering you on and see the vibrant colors and emotions of your success. This positive visualization helps set your mind on achieving your goal.
  4. Micro pops – Think of one small action you can take right now to move toward your goal. It could be something as simple as making a phone call or sending an email. These tiny steps, or “micro pops,” create momentum. Doing a few small actions each day can lead to big progress.

When we are dealing with an obstacle, we tend to go into fear, anxiety, worry, resentment, because things aren’t happening the way we want. But the tune-in process can quickly shift your energy and mindset to help you have a better process towards achieving your goals.

This process allows us to use the power of music and visualization to take us to a different place. It’s an easy and powerful way to stay motivated and on track, especially during your life’s relaunch.

The Daily Dose from the Tune-in Process

The Tune-In Process is a great way to quickly shift your energy and mindset. But did you know it also gives you a daily DOSE of feel-good chemicals in your brain? When you use the Tune-In Process, you naturally release four key “happy hormones” that make you feel good:

  1. Dopamine – This hormone makes you feel rewarded and satisfied, motivating you to take action and achieve your goals.
  1. Oxytocin – Known as the love hormone, it helps you feel connected to others and fosters feelings of trust and bonding.
  1. Serotonin – This hormone lifts your mood and helps you feel happy and content.
  1. Endorphins – These are your body’s natural painkillers and stress relievers, helping you feel good and reduce pain.

Practicing the Tune-In Process regularly gives you a natural, daily boost of these feel-good chemicals, improving your mood and energy levels and making it easier to handle whatever comes your way in your relaunch.
